There’s nothing like the feeling of clean laundry. Clean clothes. Fresh sheets. Sparkling linen. We’ll take it all. The newest trend in achieving the ultimate clean right now is laundry stripping.

You may be wondering,

Does it work or is it a fad?
Should I be doing it regularly and how might I do it?

We’re going to break down this simple technique so you can use it to boost your laundry routine, and take your laundry to the next level.

What is Laundry Stripping?

Laundry stripping is an extended laundering process that helps remove buildup and residue that lives on clothes, towels and linens.

Residue like laundry detergent, hard water, fabric softener, dirt, grime and grease can all build up over the lifetime of a garment. Laundry stripping is a simple and effective laundry technique that uses 4 ingredients to remove buildup.

Why Laundry Strip?

As noted above, fabric garments and materials can collect a lot of residue over time that isn’t quite noticeable to the naked eye. While most stains may be visibly removed from the material, other grime can live on unnoticed within the fibers. Even with frequent washing using high quality products, it can be difficult to get clothes stripped of dirt, stains and residue.

When Should I Laundry Strip?

You should consider laundry stripping whenever you feel like your laundry needs a little extra “love”. We recommend reviewing the state of your laundry to see if it’s beginning to look dingy.

Which clothes or fabrics are you most frequently using and washing that likely get the most buildup? Items like hand towels, dish rags, bath mats, and bath towels may be the first items you consider for laundry stripping!
